Sénior 2019

This wine is made from touriga nacional and touriga franca grapes to showcase the best of the 2019 harvest at Quinta do Espinho.

The grape varieties, touriga nacional, facing north, elevation 100m, and touriga franca, facing northwest, elevation 150m, were planted in 1995. The unique traits and distinctiveness of our land are reflected in the character of our produce.

The wine was vinified in granite tanks, at a controlled temperature. It ages in French oak barrels for 9 months.

Dark ruby colour, complex and intense on the nose. Mouth concentrated, freshness and balanced acidity. The wine has soft tannins and a long finish.

This project challenges us to select distinct lots of two wine varieties, demonstrating our affection and commitment to the land.
